分层皂变奏 Variations of Layered Soap

这次的主要油脂是山竹浸泡橄榄油，浸泡油通常皂化都比较快， 所以我搭配了葵花油。 尽管这样时间还是不够。

皂液轻度浓稠之后， 皂化的速度会很快， 当我快手快脚地把各种颜色调好后， 皂液已经很浓， 无法很顺畅地流动了。 没法拉花， 那就改做分层皂吧！

慢着！-- 还是要玩点花样 – 把颜色皂液这里一坨那里一点置入做随意渲染， 上层就铺上原色皂液。 末了用剩下的各色皂液在顶部做简单的拉花。

手工皂就是这么好玩。

Main ingredient for this batch was mangosteen infused olive oil. Knowing that infused oil normally saponify fast so I matched with sun flower seed oil hoping to slow down the process. Despite this still short of time.

Saponification accelerated after light trace. When I quickly done with all necessary color mix, the batter has become too thick to flow. Swirling is not likely so I switched to layered technique.

Wait ! - I still want to play some trick - So what I did I randomly dropped the colored batter into the mold to form the first layer. Then, covered it with all original color batter and made use of all remaining batter to draw simple swirling on the surface.

Handcrafted soap is so fun.
